Rock Solid Families
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe God is the source of all unconditional love (Agape), grace, and truth. We believe that every person is created in the image of God and therefore possesses intrinsic dignity, worth, and value from conception to natural death. Because God is the author of life, we believe in the sanctity of all human life and are committed to honoring and protecting it at every stage.
“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” (Genesis 1:27)
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb... your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” (Psalm 139:13, 16)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Living Word who reveals our Heavenly Father to us. We believe the Bible is the Written Word that bears witness to our God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe the Scriptures are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God—the "Rock" upon which we build our lives and our families. By anchoring ourselves in the Bible, we come to know Jesus Christ. As Jesus taught in Matthew 7, putting His words into practice provides the Rock Solid foundation stable enough to withstand the storms of life.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.” (John 1:1, 14)
“Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” (Matthew 7:24-25)
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, and we believe in the power of His death and resurrection. We believe in "The Great Exchange"—that through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, He takes our brokenness and gives us His wholeness in return. This hope is not reserved for the "perfect," but is offered freely to the hurting, the searching, and the brokenhearted. We believe that salvation is found when we surrender our lives to Him, acknowledging Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and choosing to walk in His ways.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Cor. 5:21)
Following the example of Jesus, who reached out to people from all walks of life, Rock Solid Families welcomes everyone. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, or background. Our doors and coaching sessions are open to any individual, couple, or family seeking to strengthen their relationships. We believe that God’s grace is a free gift available to all, and we strive to be a community where every person feels respected, heard, and valued. We believe that in our human weakness, His grace is enough.
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
“There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28)
We believe in the sanctity of marriage as defined in God’s Word—a sacred union between one man and one woman who become "one flesh." This union is designed to reflect the relationship between Christ (the Bridegroom) and His Church (His Bride). We believe God ordained the family as the foundational building block of society; therefore, the health of our communities, schools, and churches depends on the spiritual strength of the home. While we hold firmly to this biblical blueprint, we are committed to supporting all family units—including single-parent and blended families—helping them apply God’s unchanging truths to find stability, healing, and peace.
“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church.” (Ephesians 5:31-32)
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)
We believe parents are the primary, God-ordained guardians of their children’s hearts. At Rock Solid Families, our mission is to support and empower parents to lead their homes God’s way, not to take over their role. We believe the home is the first and most important classroom for discipleship. We are committed to equipping parents with the tools they need to teach the next generation to discern right from wrong and to defend their faith in an ever-changing world. We partner with parents, walking alongside them to provide the practical tools and Biblical support needed to fulfill their sacred calling, while always respecting their authority as the spiritual leaders of their home.
“These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” (Deuteronomy 6:6-7)
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
We believe that no life is too "far gone" and no home is too broken for God to restore. Our coaching is rooted in the conviction that through the power of the Holy Spirit and the practical application of Biblical truth, any family can become Rock Solid. Our coaching philosophy is built on three pillars:
Identity in Christ: We help families find their worth in who God says they are, rather than in their performance, past mistakes, or current circumstances.
Grace and Forgiveness: We believe in extending the same radical grace to others that God has so freely extended to us.
Perseverance: We trust that God uses the "storms of life" and trials not to break us, but to build lasting character, constancy, and hope.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
“...we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” (Romans 5:3-4)
We believe that faith without action is dead. Therefore, we are committed to being "character witnesses" for Christ—educating, equipping, and empowering families to move beyond mere survival and truly thrive for the glory of God.
We recognize that we cannot do this work in our own strength. We rely fully on the power of the Holy Spirit to guide our coaches and our sessions, providing the wisdom, discernment, and power that we do not possess on our own. We believe the Holy Spirit is our "Wonderful Counselor" who brings healing and clarity where human effort falls short.
Central to our mission is the role of our coaches. We believe our coaches are called to model the qualities of Christ—His humility, His servant-hearted leadership, and His relentless grace. We do not ask families to walk a path we are not willing to walk ourselves. By embodying the 'Fruit of the Spirit,' our coaches provide a tangible reflection of God’s love, ensuring that our work is rooted in integrity and spiritual maturity.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)
“Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 11:1)
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)
We believe that God did not intend for us to walk our faith journey alone, but as members of a local body of believers. While our goal is to meet families exactly where they are—regardless of their church background—we believe that long-term stability and spiritual growth require the support, accountability, and encouragement found in a local church home. We believe the local church is the primary vehicle God uses to nourish and protect the family. While Rock Solid Families provides specialized coaching, it is not a substitute for the local church. We are committed to helping our clients connect with a healthy church community where they can grow in their faith, serve others, and be part of the larger family of God.
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another." (Hebrews 10:24-25)
"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.". (Acts 2:42)
